Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actor who is known for her performances in movies including 'Quantum Solace', 'The Reappearance of Alice Creed', and 'Hansel and Grete: Witch Hunters'. Born in Gravesend (Kent), Greater London and she was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her acting career began shortly after she was graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance was in a comedic show called 'St Trinian's'. After that, she appeared in "Quantum of Solace" which was a James Bond spy thriller. The film had a great commercial run and had mostly positive reviews. In the main role of the action-fantasy film 'Prince of Persia The Sands of Time" was her next. She was an assistant in the French movie 'Orphan.' Her work has been nominated for numerous awards. She was awarded the highly coveted Empire Award for best newcomer in Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for her performance as a supporting actress in Made in Dagenham. In 2011 she was honoured with the Glamour Award for the Best Woman of the year.
