Dennings was in a romance to Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") from 2011 until 2014. After the breakup, she then began dating the singer Josh Groban. Together they remained until 2016. Dennings began dating musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. The two soon started dating, and confirmed their engagement in the month of the May of 2021. Dennings, a musician fan from 2014, is Dennings' first love. Although Dennings was Jewish and has stated that she identifies more with the religion on an ethnic or cultural level, and she is not a religious active part of her life.
