Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 in 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die maker who previously been employed as a worker in a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted in her early years and entered the second grade when she was five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her winning Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to take on a modeling job, signing up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year living in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was unhappy with the fashion industry in Europe she decided to pursue acting instead. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed reviews.
